Cantabria, located on the Bay of Biscay in northern Spain, has a coastline of over 220 kilometers and more than 90 beaches in stunning natural settings. City beaches, wild beaches, calm beaches, the Bay of Biscay... Cantabria has it all. El Sardinero, in Santander, is one of the most well-known. You'll enjoy Oyambre beach and its gorgeous dunes, which are located in the center of a Natural Park, on the west coast. On the east coast, La Salvé in Laredo, for example, is the Cantabrian coast's longest expanse of sand. Cantabria is known for canned anchovies and tuna, as well as superb local seafood including clams and langoustines. It's a fantastic pleasure to eat these foods adjacent to the sea.
