Marina Approach Map

Emilia-Romagna • Italy

The long stretch of sand along the Emilia-Romagna coast touches many different types of terrain, including dunes, pine forests, headlands, nature reserves, lagoons, gardens and man-made canals. In the north-east of Italy, the Adriatic coast is bordered by the seaside resorts of Emilia-Romagna. The region shares a coastline with the Marche and Veneto regions to the south and north respectively. The city of Rimini, which is also the capital of the province of the same name, is by far the most famous and important seaside resort in Emilia Romagna. Travelling in the opposite direction, north into Veneto, we find a string of seaside resorts including Bellaria, Cesenatico and Cervia, with Comacchio further north, while the two main resorts south of Rimini towards the Marche are Riccione and Cattolica.
