Corsica • France
Corsica is a Mediterranean island with a large population. It is located off the southern coast of mainland France. Monaco is to the northwest, Italy is to the north and west, and Sardinia Island is to the south. Corsica and Sardinia are separated by the Bonifacio Strait. The Ligurian Sea to the north and the Tyrrhenian Sea to the east separate it from the Italian Peninsula. The island is around 170 kilometers west of mainland France and 90 kilometers northwest of Italy.
